THE COMPUTER CENTRE – OUR GATEWAY TO ELECTRONIC INFORMATION
The Department of Education started building the computer centre in July 2008. We have been waiting with baited breath ever since to use the facilities. We are very hopeful that the centre will be handed over to us early in the second term of 2010. The centre has 24 computers installed for the use of the learners with a teacher’s desk in the front. Every action that the teacher performs on his/her computer will reflect on a big screen in the front of the class for all to see and learn from.
The possibilities are endless – computer lessons, safe and secure internet surfing for information on projects, research by teachers to enrich their lessons... WE CAN’T WAIT!
Mr Joubert will be in charge of the Computer Centre and as soon as he has undergone the necessary training from Gauteng On line he will start the ball rolling.
